The Competition Committee is responsible for the Finnish Hockey Association's competition activities
The task of the Competition Committee is to annually organize competitions under the Federation and to develop the Federation's competition activities. With its design and implementation, the Competition Committee makes it possible to organise safe and high-quality competitions. The action takes place under the Hockey Federation board.
The aim of the Competition Committee is to provide a meaningful and experiential competitive experience for all participants in the competitions, both competitors and support groups.

The role of the series manager is to:
- Coordination of tournaments together with clubs with main responsibility
- Participate, if possible, in tournaments and games of your own series. If unable to attend, authorizes the person to attend and informs the teams about this person.
- Ensure that the responsibility of informing the team to the media is realised.
- Ensures play of the series and serves as a contact point for clubs.
- Guide clubs and enforce rules.
As a rule, the powers of the head of the series are related to ensuring the play of the series, in which case the head of the series e.g.
- Responsible for match schedules
- Accepts transfers of matches
- Overseeing the Licenses
- confirm player transfers together with the Chairman of the Competition Committee
- Accepts rentals in tournaments. If not present, inform the teams who will accept the rentals in the tournament.
- Report to the federal board if necessary
