The Finnish Hockey Association is eagerly preparing for the upcoming 2025 summer competition season, which will offer exciting matches and tournaments for women, men, and juniors.
Women's and Men's Leagues
The leagues will start at the beginning of May, with the finals taking place in September. In the Women's and Men's Hockey 11’s Championship League and Hockey 5 Championship League, teams from all over Finland will compete for the championship, culminating in the finals at the Velodrome in Helsinki.
The Women's and Men's field hockey leagues will be played as single matches, with some days featuring two matches. After the regular season, the top two teams in the standings will play in the final, and the 3rd and 4th place teams will compete for the bronze. Clubs must submit their player rosters for the field hockey leagues by April 30, 2025.
Junior Tournaments
Several U16 and U12 junior tournaments will be held across Finland in the summer of 2025. Possible tournament dates are:
- May 17, 2025: Turku
- May 24, 2025: Helsinki
- June 8, 2025: Helsinki
- June 27, 2025: Turku
- August 10, 2025: Helsinki
- August 24, 2025: Helsinki
- September 21, 2025: Helsinki
Other Leagues and Participation
If your club cannot register a complete junior team but has individual players looking for a team for the summer season 2025, you can send an email to [email protected]. You can also contact the competition committee via email if you want to participate in the Divari or IKIS leagues.
