Taryn Baker - Taryn was chosen as the 2023 hockey person of the year. The justifications include helping all teams equally in communication, events and all efforts to promote the sport in Finland.

Mika Rihtilä, Vantaa: Served as the president of the union for 8 years, has worked internationally for more than 10 years, e.g. in the EHF institutions. EHF Honorary Treasurer. Initiated active junior activities during his presidency and revived the women's hockey to a new flourish. Founding member of Vantaa Hockey ry. It seemed that the club reached SM-gold in men.
Kari Saari, ABC-Team: Performed a life's work on hockey. Been involved for years in the union's activities in various roles. He served as president of the union for almost 20 years. A hockey person in spirit and blood, on whom the union has revolved through difficult times.
Klaus Saijonkivi: A tireless work mole who has worked countless hours for the union and enabled both as a judge and as the union's general secretary that others have the opportunity to focus on the sport.
Kristiina Suninen: Did a lot for the sport and union at the turn of the 21st century. Brought new winds to the union and launched e.g. junior activities. Long playing career in ABC-Team colours and women's national team.
Anne-Mari Avikainen: Long playing career in Hatsina and Tampereen Pallo-Haukot as well as in the national team. Back in the day, he did a lot of work for field hockey, especially in Tampere.
